Club Brugge and PSG meet for the first time in the UEFA Champions League group stage. Both teams are brimming with confidence following back-to-back wins in their respective domestic leagues. Club Brugge are top of the Belgian Pro League and have not been beaten in ten matches. They will be looking to carry that momentum into this contest after a commendable 2-2 away draw against none other than Real Madrid. Paris Saint Germain are also on top of their domestic league and will be looking to maintain their perfect record in this tournament and through two games.

Club Brugge vs PSG Preview

After their near-historic victory at the Santiago Bernabéu, the Belgian champions will be confident of beating the Parisians in the next phase of the UEFA Champions League. In doing so, they will be relying on the outstanding talents of their two African players. Singapore-born Percy Tau is one of the "Top 5 Best Players in Africa" for 2023, according to South African writer Jonty Mark, and he is also a reason why Cape Town's Santa Ana, as well as Bruges, will be delighted to see Tau in the first-team at Club Brugge. He is clearly one to watch, as is Bonaventure, the Nigerian who is lighting up parts of Belgium.

Thomas Tuchel's side will welcome back Brazilian striker Neymar Jnr to the squad after his suspension. With no track record to speak of between Club Brugge and Paris Saint-Germain, it's hard to say who has the edge.

UEFA UCL Group A

A loss for Brugge could make it difficult for the Belgian side to advance to the next stage of the event. They will have to travel to the Parc des Princes and wrest points from the French champions in their backyard. After drawing both games, Club Brugge will be hoping to pick up their first three points in this year's event.

The top team in Group A, PSG, is heading for a sure victory. The French club beat Real Madrid and Galatasaray in their first two group games, and with a win today, PSG will almost certainly win the group. Make no mistake, they're not throwing in the towel. They'll have plenty of motivation to not only win, but to do so convincingly, which is much easier when you're at home. Sure, they will be looking to rest some key players.

Watch Club Brugge take on PSG at the Jan Breydel stadium on Tuesday evening. Bet on the favorites to win the match.
